BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Founder & President: Camille Veneracion

Camille graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and was a recipient of a UCLA scholarship grant where she spent a year in Geneva, Switzerland studying International Relations and Law at Université de Genève. While in Switzerland, she worked at the United Nations, managing human rights projects with participants from 16 different countries.

She has been a member of AAUW since 2016 and in 2018-2019 she served as the VP of Programs at a local AAUW branch. In the past decade, she has volunteered and dedicated her time to understand different communities. She is passionate about investing in young girls’ education to positively impact economic growth and development.

Chief Financial Officer: Jessica Fan

Jessica graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) where she studied Business and Finance. Jessica is currently a Strategy Manager at Amazon Studios, where she heads content strategy for Young Adult and Kids TV Series. Before working at Amazon, Jessica worked at Goldman Sachs in Equity Research, where she covered Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) stocks. She has also worked at The Walt Disney Company in Corporate Finance. She loves live music, traveling, camping, and philanthropy. She wants to use her skills to consult non-profits and as well as to teach financial literacy to young girls.

Vice President of Events: Monica Matsuda

Monica works in the digital department at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) focusing on brand consulting and packaging upon graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2017. At UCLA she was involved in FAST (Fashion and Student Trends) organizing the annual fashion show in collaboration with Your Voice and raising funds for the pediatric oncology at Mattel Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about media and economic development, and is looking forward to mentor and empower young girls.

Vice President of Nonprofit Partnerships: Paulina Galoostian

Paulina graduated from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a major in Advertising and a minor in Business. During her time in San Francisco, Paulina worked at IBM as well as various startups before starting her own adventure as the Founder of ThisWon, a decision-making App. Paulina was named on SF Egotist’s 32 under 32 in Advertising twice before moving back to Los Angeles to work as a Digital Manager at Golin. Sitting on the board of directors for Angela’s Angels Charity, Paulina loves to give back to her community and work with empowering organizations.
